Life Bus - 3 & 4 November

'The life bus lady came to school on Friday 4^th November. We learnt about drugs, smoking and making decisions. When we entered the Life Bus we sat down and the screen showed a picture of the systems in your bodies.

First we started talking about drugs and how they can harm you and we listed them on the wall. If you take the wrong medicine or have a over dose it can make it worse. We watched a quiz show and we had to point to A, B or C for the answers to the quiz. Then we watched a game about true or false to answer the question. Then it came to the end of our visit and we saw the life bus for the last time. On the way out we all said goodbye to Harold. I would love to visit the life bus again.'

Jesmine D  and Isabella H - Year 6

'Today, Year 3 went to the Life Bus.  We learnt about being friendly and helathy.  there is a statue called Tammy, when you touch her she glows. There is also a giraffe called Harold.  We also saw a talking brain that helped us with our questions.  We watched a video about a little boy who was called Sam and his friend had been very nasty to him and we talked about how to make him happy.  I really enjoyed our day so much I definitely want the Life bus to come back next year.'
