Year 2 - 'Florence Nightingale' Museum - 7 February

'My favourite part of the day was when we had our lunch and saw a waterfall and big ben went ding dong ding dong ding dong. My favourite thing that I had in my lunch box was my monster munch crisps. There was a rod around the waterfall. Yellow house went first then red then green then blue. In first place was callum then Lawrence then Eloise then Zara and zooming behind was Josh Lee from red who had beaten Aderayo then there was Scarlett, Samuel, Tamsin and Natalie. But that was just the yellow and red.'

'My favourite par t was looking at the interesting owl that was Florence’s pet. It made me feel a little sad because it had died. It was funny when Gavril dressed as a soldier and Jess and Ellese dressed up as a nurse.'

'My best thing was when we did the soldiers food. And when we put the soldiers food on the plates. Then we got a plate and put the bad food on the plate and then we got the good plate and put the good food on.'

'My favourite was the train because there was so many interesting things to look outside the window. There was trees and fields and lots of bridges and lots of people on the train.'

'The best part of the day was when we all listened to Florence talk about her life. It was fun. Gavril dressed up as a soldier, Ellese dressed up as a nurse, so did Jessy. It was as if Florence came to life now! I was very interested in everything I saw.'

'My favourite part was seeing the guns and cannon balls because then you could imagine how bad the soldiers were injured.

It made me feel sad because it would have hurt them such a lot and the hospitals were hot as good as they are now.'
