Cookery Clubs

The pupils have written about the activities they have enjoyed in Cookery Club.

Heather:  ‘I like cookery club because we make lots of yummy things that everyone likes.’

Mosope: ‘It is cool , fun and it’s nice to learn different cooking skills.’

Alex ; ‘I enjoy learning different methods of cooking like creaming and beating – but my favourite part is always eating what we have made.’

Jemima: ‘I like cooking because it could help you in later life.’

Isabella: ‘Cookery club is cool because we make very nice food and it is nice to work with partners.’

Ben: ‘I think cookery club is fun because it is nice that we can cook in our school.’

Matthew:  ‘I like cookery club because you can eat things !!!’

Emily:  ‘ I like cookery club because it is a nice way to get to know more people and it is really fun learning how to cook things.’

Cake Decorating Clubs

The children will learn simple piping techniques and hopefully go on to decorate cupcakes, to make simple models from regal icing (they may go on to make some basic flowers) and to decorate a Victoria sandwich cake with a summer theme

Parents may be asked to supply cakes to decorate for some of the sessions - perhaps you might like to get your children cake-baking over the hoildays and pop them in your freezers!!.
