Summer Fair - Saturday 26 June

The PA would be grateful for donations of small jars, (such as Jam Jars), filled with assorted goodies which would be suitable for a boy, girl or either. The jars could be filled with bouncy balls, small toy cars, creepy crawlies, pencils, puzzles, stickers. marbles, hair bands, sweets or anything else along these lines.

Alternatively, if you don't have time to fill your own jar but would still like to contribute to this hugely popular stall, we can fill one for you! Just pop a couple of pounds in an empty jar, or in an envelope marked 'Filled Jars' and bring it in by the 18 June.

Thank you. WLPA

Essential Gas Mains Replacement – Station Road area, Sidcup

From Monday 24 May, for approximately 22 weeks, we will be replacing an ageing metal gas main and services in the Station Road area.

We will be carrying out work in Station Road, Old Farm Avenue, Halfway Street and Burnt Oak Lane. Due to the main being under the road, it will be necessary to close Station Road to northbound traffic from the junction with Longlands Road while we complete our work there. A diversion will be in place via Hatherley Crescent, Faraday Avenue, Bexley Lane, Foots Cray Lane and Hurst Road. Old Farm Avenue will be closed at its junction with Station Road while we carry out our work there, as will Burnt Oak Lane at its junction with Halfway Street.

Should you require any further information or advice, please do not hesitate to call us on 020 8858 6910.

Yours faithfully

Peter Cooper
Team Manager

 School crossing patrol

There will be no School Crossing Patrol until further notice as our Patrol Officer has been relocated to the patrol of an officer recently injured whilst undertaking his duties. During this absence due to the secondment by Bexley Council, please take extra care when crossing Station Road.

 Notice about Parking

Dear Parents.

The Staff car park should not be used by parents at any time, including collecting pupils from Creche and After School Clubs. There are no restrictions after 3 pm in the roads opposite the school and we would be grateful if parents would please observe this request.

Access to the school AT ALL TIMES is via the steps opposite the side entrance gate. Visitors should then use the pathway to the front door and use this pathway when leaving and the steps to exit the school. We are concerned for your and our pupils safety at all times and the movement of cars by staff and delivery vans etc are constant, but especially so at the beginning and end of the school day when we would politely ask you to adhere to this request most diligently.

When parking in the side roads please ensure you do not park close to the corners of the roads.

Maintenance work continues in Station Road for the forseeable future so extra vigilance is advised at all times.

Thank you.
