By Mrs Glynis Pereira – Craft Club Co-ordinator
Craft Club is an enjoyable 1 hour session which helps the children
to relax at the end of a busy week at school. The children participate in various
craft activities which allow them to work with materials such as different types
of paper, fabrics, paints and other craft accessories. Every project not only
gives them a chance to create a functional or decorative item which they can
take home, but it also gives them the added thrill of having made it for themselves.
I am there to guide and help the children to develop their creative and practical
skills. It is personally very satisfying for me to see their faces light up
when they have accomplished something new no matter how small the achievement.
I am sure that the club members who attend the Craft Club find it both a happy
and rewarding experience.
