Spring Term - 2010

Items from Autumn Term 2009

Nursery & Reception Christmas Production

Congratulations to the Nursery and Reception children and their teachers for the enthusiastic and confident telling of the story of ‘Whoops-a-Daisy Angel’.

The children and staff in Year 1 and Year 2 performed a wonderful play entitled ‘It’s a party’ telling the audience about the Christmas story.

Thank you very much to all the readers and musicians who performed at the Carol Evening and the Carol Service at the end of term.

I am sure you will wish to join me in thanking Mrs Brown, Mrs Bushell and the WLPA for their hard work for our Christmas Bazaar which was a great success. .

Mrs Pickering retired at the end of last term. We wish Mrs Pickering a long and happy retirement and thank her for all she has done for the children she taught.

Items for Spring Term 2010

The staff have planned an interesting and educational range of activities for your children for this term. Further details are included later in this Information Bulletin.

Please may I remind you that the school’s annual assessments take place during the week beginning 10th May before half term and it is very important that your child is in school for these unless they are unwell. Some children have already mentioned that they may be on holiday at this time but it is important that the children are here for the assessments. Thank you for your co-operation with this matter.
