Welcome to the OWLS website page. OWLS is the association for Old West Lodge
Students & Staff and membership is open to any past pupils or members of staff
of West Lodge School.
West Lodge School began life over 60 years ago, so there are
a great number of potential members out there! Here at HQ we would love to receive an
email telling us of your achievments and successes. Have you married, climbed
Mount Everest or passed a GCSE in a subject you were hopeless at while at school.
Perhaps you have achieved great sporting success competing for your secondary
school or as an adult, let us know if you have written a book that could take
a place on our Library shelves. Whatever you have done and whereever you now
are in the world, we would love to hear from you and share news with other OWLS
and keep you in touch with each other.
We also hope that this website will enable OWLS to keep up
to date with current activities, the Newsletter and Diary Dates are useful pages
for letting you know of forthcoming school events that you may like to attend
such as the Christmas Bazaar to be held on Saturday 24 November, between 12
noon and 2.30 pm. OWLS will be running a stall, and we would appreciate help
from ex pupils and staff as well as any ideas you may have for the day.
Please write or email the school with your contributions whether
this is a one line memory or a full article of your adventures since leaving
the school. It is your input that will make the page interesting for everyone
to read. If you are willing to include photographs or for your email address
to be available to others then let us know and we will try to put people in
touch with each other again. Our contact details are on the website.
