Science club meets weekly after school in the Science room
and can be joined by pupils in Years 3 – 6, although for safety reasons,
numbers are limited.
Topics covered are varied. So far, crystals have been grown,
bones have been examined, magnet competitions have taken place and light has
been bent. The aim is to spend time on the topics children find interesting,
that go beyond the school science syllabus. There is also plenty of opportunity
to use some of the unusual things in the science room. Like science itself,
the activities of the Science Club are developing, and there are exciting plans
for the future.
