As we arrived at the courts, we were all feeling the same way; excited and ready to go!
We arrived excited and raring to go. Our first match was really close but unfortunately it ended up 3-2 against us. However, we picked ourselves up to win the second match 7-0 against a school from Devon. Our third match gave us our second win, 4-1 against a school from Brentwood. We were on a roll!!!
It was our kick off and we came out the blocks strong. Passing ,calling and working as a team.
In the 5th minute, number 11 crossed it into number 4 and we scored! The teamwork we were showing was incredible!
This netball game was quite important as if we won, we would go to the Youth Games which is a very big competition where each borough would have one school who would play for them. Our netball team went over to Bexley Grammar School to play this game, the other team were very good, and it was a hard match for both sides. Harris Garrard were winning 3-1 after the first quarter which lasted 6 minutes but we kept going and never gave up. We showed resilience and teamwork a lot in this match, and I think our coach can agree that we all played brilliantly.
