What does your role involve?

My role covers all the typical School Business Manager duties; managing the finance, all aspects of HR & recruitment, buildings maintenance, Health & Safety, Compliance, clerking duties and Admissions.

At what age do children typically join West Lodge?

The usual point of entry to West Lodge school is through our Nursery class when children are aged 3-4 years old.

What are the main reasons parents tell you they have chosen West Lodge for their child/ren?

Most of our families choose West Lodge School for its nurturing environment. They see West Lodge as an extension to their family and are confident that their children will be guided and empowered to reach their full potential here. We often see generations of families passing through the school because parents and grandparents recall their positive childhood experience at West Lodge.

What do you enjoy most about your role at West Lodge?

I enjoy working at West Lodge for its positive and supportive culture from both the pupils and staff. My role is challenging; juggling so many different areas but I always feel part of a team willing to do all they can for the benefit of the pupils and each other.
