We were able to award 12 Gold awards this year, with a particular well done to one Year 6 pupil who scored 100%. We look forward to seeing a number of children progressing onto the bonus round in February.

In Maths at West Lodge, pupils are encouraged to develop enquiring minds, to become increasingly self-motivated, confident and capable of solving problems and participating in investigative work. Something that was recognised in our 2025 ISI Inspection Report: 

[The way the Maths curriculum is structured] enables pupils to apply their knowledge in problem-solving and mathematical reasoning.
