West Lodge awarded a Green Flag Award with Distinction
We're proud that the work and leadership of last year's Eco-Council coupled with our innovative curriculum, that embraces topics such as sustainable farming, has been recognised by Eco-Schools in the form of a Green Flag Award with Distinction.
The judges commented:
To lead a group of students as an adult is admirable, to have those same students leading each other is inspirational! We here at Eco Schools are so proud of your students and the enthusiasm and independence they have shown when it comes to keeping our planet safe for the next generation. You should all be so proud of yourselves!
We here at Eco Schools were so happy to hear that you have been looking into sustainability with Year 5 and especially sustainable farming, Our pollinators are so important to keeping our planet healthy and thriving so to see and hear all about your work around rewilding and going to see Knepp Estate fills us with so much joy! Keep doing the amazing work you're currently doing.
