When I started Reception in September, I knew 3 phase 2 sounds. I had letter sounds to practise at home and with my teachers as well as daily phonics lessons in school. I also had a wordless book each week to explore.

I knew most of my phase 2 sounds and could blend these together to read CVC words. I had blending games to play at home and with my teachers and had started to learn my tricky rainbow words by sight too.

I am able to read lots of rainbow words by sight and am enjoying reading Level 1 Oxford Reading Tree books. I am remembering lots of phase 3 sounds too which helps me with my reading even more.
