West Lodge are National Finalists in 2026 ISA Awards category 'Award for Future Readiness'
This is in recognition of the strength of our progressive ‘Skillset for Success’ curriculum that equips children with the skills and metacognitive know-how to be change-makers and problem-solvers in an ever-evolving world.
The curriculum includes digital literacy (computing/robotics/3D digital design/AI), STEM, business enterprise skills, oracy and supporting pupils to solve environmental challenges. These skills are seen as equally as important as core skills.

National Engineering Competition Success
Congratulations to these young engineers who have been successful in the London regional finals of a national engineering competition. Their well-designed ideas and engaging letters caught the attention of the panel of expert judges and engineers.
New unit on rewilding introduced to module about sustainability
As part of their Geography learning, Year 5 have been studying a variety of topics related to sustainability. They have particularly enjoyed a new unit we recently launched which focusses on rewilding; a proactive way to achieve ecological restoration.
