Year 5 complete a 'mission to Mars' at the Science Museum

Year 5 attended a variety of workshops at the Science Museum in order to develop their learning of their current Science topic, 'Earth and Space'.

They completed a ‘Mission to Mars’ workshop, which involved looking at the planets in the solar system and the development of Space travel throughout the years.

The trip was extremely fun and the workshops were fascinating; I learnt many new things.

I enjoyed the Mission to Space Workshop the most because there were loud noises and explosions.

My favourite part was learning about the rocket engines throughout the 19th century in the space gallery.

The Wonderlab was an amazing experience with a lot of interactive things to discover.

I really enjoyed the trip to the Science Museum because I got to try out all sorts of new things, my favourite part was the workshop.

I had the best day ever!
